FOUNDER & DESIGNER


Raquel Cózar is the founder and designer behind Hágase.  With a background in Fashion Design and Fine Arts, her approach is shaped by the dialogue between artistic expression and functional design.


In 2011, she moved to New Delhi, where she lived for two years.  There, she discovered a deep appreciation for traditional craftsmanship and the knowledge behind handmade objects.  


In 2014, she spent six months in Ubrique, one of Spain's historic centres for leather goods.  This marked a turning point, leading her to focus more deeply on leather bags and the possibilities of the material.


Her journey since then, has  developed between design, art and craftsmanship, shaping the perspective behind HÁGASE.
